new page!! I had trouble with this one, artistically… you can probably tell (hope not though!) for some reason it just wasn't coming together right. I think it's because so much of it is multi-person panels, which is harder than one-person panels.
I read "Maus" today (part 1… I have to track down part 2 now) and it made me cryyy!! poor mice. It's a really good story– a memoir about the author's father and his time in Poland during the Holocaust. I just got up to where he and his wife are sent to Auschwitz.
It's by Art Spiegelman, who's coming to GW this Thursday and I'm gonna MEET HIM so I gotta get hip to the groove, so to speak. You guys have heard of Maus, right???

Anyway, enjoy the page. I agonized a little. mehh.
I also learned ho much my vaguely OCD side loooves drawing patterned fabrics.. and I realize now I added the white text a little too close to the speech bubble. I'll fix it later…
I think I might stick to this black outlining stuff…
