Hooray, new page done! I did this last night actually, but didn't have my camera with me so I couldn't update :() (lol weird smiley) I did it while watching TCM. There was an awesome Elvis movie on– I think it was Jailhouse Rock? Elvis was SO sexy. In this angsty, badass way– I was so surprised, I guess because nowadays movies & media are shying away from teenage heartthrob rebels. It's more the squeaky-clean (Jonas brothers, Zac Efron) wheels that get the grease. The movie was directed by Richard Thorp– TCM was doing a retrospective on him. But after that they had a silent movie, and a French movie (I take a long time to do each page) so I couldn't listen & paint, & so I just watched what seemed to be a marathon of shitty Law & Order episodes.

Oh, but speaking of zac efron, I got the latest issue of Interview Magazine, and it had a pic of him rolling around with a NAKED LADYYY?? nipples showing and everything!!! (ok, so that was why I bought the magazine in the first place.) He's so great! Heart!

Aw, Kazimieras is kinda cute on this page. ^_^ beatin' up old guys and such.
Thanks guys for the comments! That's cool, Friedenmann, about your mom. Stories from Eastern Europe tend to be pretty awesome. & I'll change the "Police" thing when I get the chance– although really, we're supposed to assume this comic is translated from Lithuanian. So 'Militsya' even would probably be translated to 'police', rather than 'militia!' Does that make sense?

Heh.. the story itself is written really weirdly; odd syntax and not too many contractions. It's cause when I write, especially first-person, I get 'into character' so to speak, and the voice just kind of speaks to me, you know? It's almost like being hypnotized– you're aware of what you're doing, and mostly in control, but it's like some imaginary friend is whispering in your ear what to write. wow, I sound weird -_-'

Oh PS, I forgot to mention this in my notes last page, but the tower in the bg is Gediminas' Tower!!!!!!!! OMG I love Gediminas~~! He's like the secret mascot of this comic.


by the way, how does one get featured? it's a goal of mine; if not this comic, then dammit I'll keep making comics until every comic on DD is by me and then they'll HAVE TO feature me ; )
I was always hoping against hope that MisfAs would be featured.. just goes to show I'm my own biggest fan ; )
