OMG NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you likely see from the obnoxious but lovely link, The Optimist is having a fanart contest!!! Go here for more information. THERE ARE AWESOME PRIZES!!!!! I'd been planning it for a while, but finally decided to swallow my fears and just do it. (I feel like holding contests are kind of like hosting parties– they can be lots of fun, unless no one shows up, which always seemed to happen to me when I tried to organize parties… so it follows that probably no one will answer my plea for entries. ) Eh I shan't be negative!! And I'm sure that by September, I'll have a job to finance printing the comic… r-right?

ANYWAY, if you luv me (other than max- he can enter but can't win. Neither can other family members.) enter my contest! What's the worst that could happen? You waste an hour drawing a picture that makes me uber uber happy?? ;D


Ok, back to the page!
And here’s another apologetic update… apologetic for not updating forever, of course, not for some unknown wronging… heh!
Well, I was frustrated about losing my script, so I just was like, “screw it, I’ll re-do the revisions.” (I came to this conclusion after tearing my room apart looking for it.) So I did some fixing up, and while doing so, I had an interesting new idea about the ending!! I’ll definitely be working it in. I’ve been thinking about how my characters “change” by the end, and although they totally change in my mind, I know that was a complaint one of my classmates had about the story, he said it ended too soon and we didn’t get to see how the characters changed. Well, I had subtly inserted some hints that they changed, but (pah!) he obviously just didn’t get my genius. lol jk.

Another complaint that was perhaps better-founded was that the father isn’t developed enough… so this next scene, hopefully, will fix that issue!! Hopefully. I envy those iconic writers who can characterize with just a few words. I think that takes more cleverness than I could ever hope to possess.

My sister is home temporarily, but she keeps ignoring me. I wanna hang out and have FUN! D: oh well.
