Here again is my attempt to draw Scout cool. Ahhh Scout can't look cool for some reason or sexy or hot… um.. Well I am a chick artist and artists tend to draw people emphasizing what they find attractive. For some reason I'm just not capable of drawing pretty boy. I can draw realistic… I say that's looking pretty nice in the 1st panal. But anime fans don't find that attractive… I was told that I'm better at realistic style than anime. That was from a friend that reads a dozen popular webcomic but won't take a look at mine until I have it in print.
I have like a whole bunch of friends that are like. "that's… nice you have a webcomic. I'll read it when you have it in print." Ahhh you see the modivation..? I only know one person that reads my comic and I talk to him in person. That's my boyfriend. And I'm not sure if he's into the comic or not I hear him say, "When is Scout going to drop his balls!? Scout's a pansy! He fails to open the door and crys!" Then he goes on about the zombies… "Terry was king of the zombie horde! but then he lost them. He lost the zombie horde…When Scout going to get his shotgun and kill the zombie horde?! He should be like "BRING IT BITCHES!". I laugh. I call him my only fan ,because he's the only reader I've seen in real life. Yes you all could be my imagination… He gets my other only-read-when-printed friends into it. When I'm drawing a page they say "oh look it's Scout… Scout the pansy. Scout's a pansy. Scout's a pansy.Scout's a pansy." Then sometimes my boyfriend explains the plot to them. "Terry was once king of the zombie horde. The zombie horde tried to kill Starla by setting her on fire. Scout tried to open a door but failed and then he cried… like a pansy. Now the zombie horde is no more and Terry once king of the zombie horde got angery…etc" He's always predicting when happens next usally trying to guess who is king of the zombie horde. NO ONE IS.
What was I origenally talking about? Oh yeah cool Scout. I wonder if realistic style can be the American style…? OOO…American. I say both. I'm influwanced by the dude that makes the manga Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter X Hunter. I like his inbetweener style. Sometimes he's realistic sometimes cute manga style. I think that's what I was going for. (Yet comparing his YYH in shonen jump with other manga in SJ his looks real bad. Well he did improve alot in Hunter X Hunter.)
