I'm really excited about the Drunk Duck awards. Best idea I heard for a long time. I want to volunteer for judging but for some reason I can't log into the forums. I changed the passward by email even reregitered but the forum program just doesn't seem to like me anymore.
I know it's an unwritten rule that it's best not to talk about fellow drunkduck comics. One shouldn't play favorites.
But I wonder whose going to win…!
I'm predicting…
Pinky TA for art. Jump for horror. And the rest is up in the air.
I check out most of the story comics on DD when I can but I rarely read strip comics. So I'm unaware of almost half of the comics out there on DD. I'm really interested to see which one will get the big award. If Alpha Shade were still here I'd guess they'd get something. Oh wells for them though.
The problem with judging(storywise) is a lot of the comics I read are in the beginning part of the story. Great beginings but not really much has happened yet. Some of the them even started over from the beginning again… I think the comics that went aways in their story already should get a award.
I'm really hoping for BK Shattered Hate(Action? Drama? Manga?), Gnoph (sci-fi)(but two moons is good too for scifi) and Thunder Roarer(fantasy)(Talismen: Return of the Exile is probably going to be the shoo-in win for fantasy).
