This one contains a little tribute to the women on my mom's side of the family, the Dervereauxs, who became teachers. Despite warning me off from the profession, I ended up in it. Despite the frustrations of being teachers, and later leaving the profession as they al did, they were rock stars in the class room, and I know they helped make Elementary School a bit less of a 'foul pit' for scores of students.

For those who remember elementary school as an idyllic, happy time…… really? Kids can be CRUEL, that's what I remember! Sometimes, you need an Irma at your side!
