A lot of people ask me why Sarah doesn't confront her mom more often. Why she doesn't argue more.

I dont know how it is for EVERY kid, I don't know how every adult was as a child, but arguing with a parent can be scary! A child Sarah's age depends on her parents for everything, and can feel she has everything to lose. Learning to stand up to adults, to rebel, is something that kids tend to discover, developmentally speaking, in their teen years, when they start to learn they can stand on their own, be their own people.

Lucky for Sarah, she has a teen on her side now. Will Mars be able to lend her some of that power? We'll see.
