No group on earth has a monopoly on hard times, nor on good times. More importantly, no group is made of individuals who have all had the exact same experience. We lose sight of the fact that groups are made up of individuals, each of whom have lived a unique life. Generalizations are, at best, a very crude tool and more frequently, they do great injustice to just about everyone. More on this as the story unfolds….
