Well, after a week of rest I feel much better. I wasn't particularly eager to put this page up by itself. But a double wasn't possible.

Recently I've been wondering about comic book art and was looking through the different comic sights (Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, etc.) And found the submission guidelines for pencillers. As I thought about putting some pages together I sat down and worked on some pages for a romantic comedy story I've been working on for a while called "Summer." I gave them a lot more time than I usually give the "Pure Soul" pages and the difference in quality was amazing. It made me realize how much better I can make my art.

As such I'm going to be experimenting on the comic a bit. The overall style won't change but I'm going to put more effort into anatomy, perspective and (after looking at this page) backgrounds. I'm hoping that there will be obvious improvement and I'm still going to try for my tri-weekly updating. With any luck, maybe I'll be working as a comic book (or maybe storyboard) artist in the near future.
