I got into quite a discussion with a friend over whether it should be "was killed" or "were killed". We finally settled on "was". Thanks Melody! ^-^

And yeah, ha-ha. Adrian's mom has big hair. The time the war was set was in the late 80's. It could be worse…I seriously considered giving Adrian's dad a mullet 0.o
