Angela is feeling more comfortable around Adrian, she's even up to insulting him. Then he does all demony on her.

If you're wondering, the last panel is supposed to be a trick of lighting. From Angela's POV, Adrian looks the way he normally does in his semi-demon form, and her reaction is to his words, not so much his appearance. The scary-shadowy thing is something only we can see.
But yes, Adrian might be a sweet lunkhead, but he does like blood and violence. He *is*a demon after all!
