URG! I'm so sorry for the recent lack of updates. I just started school again this past week, and I was really frazzled, so it took my forever to complete this page, and I could work much on Rose Killer stuff. Because I've just started school again, and things are a little busy for me, I'm going to change my update schedule. I've been thinking about what kind of schedule will work for me, and for now, it's going to be once a week. What day? I'm not sure; I haven't decided which day will be the best yet, but I will certainly get you all at least one page a week. Thanks for being patient with me. =_=

Also, the Rose Killer it 50 pages now! (But technically still 49, because one page is a cover page because I've decided to split the Rose Killer into not only chapters but parts. It's nothing flashy, but if you take a look at the drop down you should be able to find it. XD) Thanks for all the motivation you guys have been giving me. I often lack motivation, so without all your comments I wonder if I would have gotten this far, lol.

So, about this page: It's flashback time, baby XD. I've never done a flashback before, so this is going to be fun. It was hard to make everyone look younger then they way the look now in real time. Although I'm writing this story such that you'll be able to know everyone's ages eventually, here's a little info concerning that:
-It's presently 1925 in the story
-Ophelia is thinking back right now to her 5th birthday in 1907, so she was born in 1902 and is currently 23
-Orsola is four years older than Ophelia, so she was 9 then and 27 now.
-Marcello is 10 years older than Ophelia, so he was 15 then (yes, he was doing mob hits at that tender age XD) and he is 33 now.

@usedbooks - I agree; I don't have any family members that need that kind of care, but I can image how hard it must be. I actually got the idea of Orsola's character after I watched a Japanese drama series called "Daisuki!" about a woman like Orsola who had to be cared for by her family.

@Ironscarf - I just feel old because I'm about to leave me teenage years in 6 months. I can't believe the time has gone by so fast @_@. And yes, I sort of do concider myself to be a poet; I've got a couple of poems published. :D

@GracehFaceh - (I love you screenname XD) thanks, and yeah, it's usually the mother that does that, but Ophelia's mother isn't very fond of her, so I don't think she really cares whether she has kids.

@DAJB - yeah, she doesn't want to lie to poor Papa, but Papa doesn't even notice. D:
