[Strike]blah blah next tune in next week for the thrilling conclusion, then three weeks after that for a write-up of my cruise to ALASKA.[/strike]

ARTICLE POSTPONED; MJ DIED. Say what you will of his personal life, Micheal Jackson truly changed the face of music. His style blended hip-hop, funk and pop seamlessly, he inspired millions of people, and yet for the last decade and a half he's been downgraded to Bad Comedy 102 (mocking Southerners is, of course, Bad Comedy 101.) People (read: assholes) have asked me, on a whim, if I think Weird Al would have parodied 'Beat It' and 'Bad' differently had he done them after the scandal. And I, of course, then proceed to rant at them. No, of course not, that's more like what Bob Rivers would do. (P.S., expect an article on why I hate him so much) No, Weird Al's parodies are always respectful of the original artist. I hate hip-hop usually, with the exception of MJ. That's why Al's been the only guy to ever parody MJ's music: no one else can brig themselves to deface those song with pedo jokes.
