THIS IS NOT REND or his alter ego !!
So dont think it is =)
Like most people named after gods or mythical beings, Rend is named after this one.

He is Rendai the ruler of the Spirits who is said to be slain in a great war.
I will be doing a series about Rendai in the future. It will be a while, but his will be his own comic.

The Saga of Rend is part of three story compilation with Rendai's tale first and someone else's last. I can't talk about that last one right now though..
Anyhoo, enjoy this design/color test I did for Rendai.
