Here's the deal. This semester I am taking a full load of college classes, and this poses a problem for The Silver Eye, because there is absolutely no way I am going to be able to keep up what I'm doing once classes start. Thus I am going to have to change my drawing style making it less time consuming. I know it can't be so semi realistic, so I have to decide how I want to simplify my style and technique. This week I am going to devote my time to figuring out and practicing this new style. I've decided not to update next week so I can focus on getting this down. (I secretly hope to be able to have a two page update the next week, but I'm not making any promises)

As I was thinking about how this would effect the consistency of the comic and I came up with the idea that I could change the style every 50 pages. This would let me learn a ton of styles and get them down, but don't get super sick of them. The reason I started this comic was to gain more experience in drawing and this will help a lot.

If I were to wait until the beginning of issue 4 that would mean I have to stick with this style until December and that defeats the point of switching at all 'cause of classes. I don't want to change the style mid issue. I decided that I'm going to just start the style and then someday come back and use that style on the first 6 pages of this issue, but for now they are allowed to be inconsistent because they are pretty and not nearly as eye-hurtable as the issue one pages that haven't been redrawn yet. With this new style I want to start updating twice a week, because this issue is moving plain slow and it stinks compared to issue 4 and 5, I tell you. So let's get this thing moving along.

I hate to not update next Sunday, and to try and make this up to you I will have a new vote incentive sketches up every day on TWC, and give you goodies via facebook, so you will not feel so TSE deprived.
