Yes, that is a leprechaun. In some folklore, leprechauns are not tiny little people and even when they are, they can take on various forms. In any form though, they do tend to be tricksters and mischievous meaning that a guy like that would be Hyde kind of guy though it wouldn't stop him from getting a go at his gold. On friendly terms of course. They're both gentlemen here.

St-Patrick's Day is also big where I live which is Montreal. There's a march every year and of course everyone wears green and enjoys a drink with friends. Remember, always have a designated driver or have a taxi plan. If you can't get your friends home, let them stay the night. Always having a plan is a good plan and it makes the holiday happier.
