I took inspiration from the Hunger Games and Harriet with this one. I take a lot of pride in the women of my webcomic. While feminism has come a long way, in some parts of the world, gender equality is still a prominent struggle and many girls are denied basic rights. Many girls in some parts of the world are still denied education, they are paid less than men for the same job and girls get sold into child/forced marriage like property.

If you wouldn't put your sons through such injustices, you shouldn't expect your daughters to have to go through them as a part of life.
