Episode 4.137 - The Operating Blues

Today marks the SuperFogeys' one year anniversary on Drunk Duck. I've enjoyed my time on here immensely. The SuperFogeys' fans are a loyal and vocal bunch, and for that I thank you. Keeps me going.

We're days away from a complete site relaunch over at http://www.superfogeys.com. There will be bells and whistles over there that you can't even imagine. Character bios, ability to leave comments on individual strips, links section, blog, store, news section and much more. Gonna be fantastic. I start uploading the archive today.

But even with that going on, as long as there's a Drunk Duck I can't imagine ever leaving. I want to maintain a continued presence here, even as I hope you all will come on over to http://www.superfogeys.com.

I've heard and read the rumors that Drunk Duck might be expiring. That Platinum doesn't care about DD anymore. I hope that isn't the case. I hope this great community can continue. I've gotten so much out of it (not the least of which is all the fantastic fan art!) and "met" some really nice people. (And I apologize for not being as diligent with my reading lately–life has been a little crazy lately!)

I've got my problem's with today's episode. There might be one two many ideas crammed into this strip. It's just ugly and busy. You win some, you lose some. And then you keep going forward, right?
