NEW SUPERFOGEYS.COM PRE-LAUNCH DAY 5!

This is it–day 5 of the new superfogeys.com pre-launch extravaganza! The site has whole new look and every day this week has featured new SF material. I've also been highlighting some of the new features of this amazing site that Th3rd World (with a bit of input and some artwork from me) put together.

To finish things out this week I want to start with the "Forums" tab above the strip. This is the place to start and participate in lengthier discussions about SF, vote in polls, and see the occasional peek into my process like coloring variations and such. Would love to see this develop into an active community and hope to see you there.

The Forum itself is actually attached to a group I belong to called Tall Tale Features, a webcomic collective featuring some truly, truly great talent. Think to TTF is on the left side of screen just under…

The "SuperFogeys Swag" link and pic. The "Store" tab will also take you to your one-stop shop for all things SF. Right now, of course, you can order all three SF books, but soon we hope to have T-Shirts, Bookmarks, Posters, etc. Anyone interested in purchasing some original art? If so, let me know! Thinking about putting that in the store as well.

Okay, I think that's everything! I hope this little 5-day breakdown helped make sense of all this. At least a little. Really, really appreciate the positive feedback we've gotten so far. Means a lot after the months and months of hard work.

Cellmates, Page 3

So…why is there a post on a Friday and what is "Cellmates?" Well, last week SuperFogeys Collection #3 went off to the printers (you can order your copy today at the SuperFogeys Store) and it features an 11-PAGE bonus story drawn by the phenomenal Chip Skelton (Broken).

Thanks in large part to Chip, "Cellmates" is one of the best pieces of sequential art I've had the privilege to work on. This is the last of the pages from this story that I'll be posting on the web. If you want the rest, you gotta buy the book! Cheap!

Click back a few in the archives to see the first two pages. In about a week, I'll be placing this preview in the back of Chapter 4 in the archives so that it's properly associated. Be sure and look for it again there if you're having a hard time making up your mind on whether or not to get the book!

Thanks again, Chip!

The Gigcast Interview 2!

Did my second Gigcast interview with JT and Scott and it's up now! We talk about the new site, SF book 3 and the current SF storyline. It's the Gigcast. You know it's a good listen. Check it out here!

Next Week:

Jerry makes a stink about Tangerine and Captain Spectacular works a butterfly collar. (I think you know what that means…flashback time!)

Also, on Wednesday, a very special comic about SF that's unlike anything you've seen on this site so far, courtesy of Erin and Brock Heasley. That's right, I collaborated. With my WIFE.
