This page can come off as confusing, but I had so much speech for the swordsman that I had to put his text in a box instead of a balloon. However, I like the idea that this group of people are being hunted by evil religious people - it creates a sense of paranoia among them, since they would normally seek shelter in churches and temples. They would have friends that work in temples, and whatnot. It turns their world completely up-side-down, which can be very disconcerting.
