A little back story on Julian, and probably one of the coolest shots of Shiri that I've done to date.

Some people have asked about some more backstory on the characters, and it's coming. However, I don't mind giving a little "director's commentary" here:

I enjoy movies, and some of the best movies I've seen have come out of Korea. One of my favorites is called "Shiri," which is basically just an action flick. However, the way the movie is paced and the cinematography in the flick are great - perfect, almost. I highly recommend seeing it, if you have the chance, but be aware that the movie does not pull any punches with the violence and many Korean movies do not have happy endings - but they do tend to have a unique story.

Also, I recommend watching it with subtitles - which I always recommend. A movie (and I also think video games) should be viewed in their original language.

I guess I should just come out and admit that I also enjoy anime, but always watch it subtitled. What do you guys and gals think about subtitles?
