If it isn't obvious by now, I've been trying to establish what the swordsman's life was like before we encountered him in this story. Specifically, the relationship with his kids and his wife. Trying to give them a personality on a single page is a difficult task to accomplish, but the reader should be familiar with them for the role that they play in this tale.

Music was very inspirational for me in this story. In fact, the entire story was inspired initially by the theme song for the video game Xenosaga 2, titled "The Image." Since that time, I've been compiling a soundtrack list for the story - every song that I listened to that inspired me to write certain scenes or characters. That list will become available a little later down the road.

The story was originally much more epic in scale, about a group of travelers searching for the 7 mystical dragon hearts around the galaxy. Obviously, I've changed that story quite a bit since my first inspiration. ;)
