A little legend here about a great samurai that lived in this region of the world. Julian could be describing something a little closer to home, however….

…originally, my ideal was to start making the reader question whether or not this nameless swordsman was this great samurai that Julian is describing, or is an immortal embodiment of Abraham still wondering the earth and trying to atone for his mistakes along the way.

However, I'm not going to say which it is yet - there's still plenty of opportunity for me to tease, and for the reader to wonder. :P
