This character will appear in the next chapter, and will play a rather significant role. His role in the prequel "Bushido" will be larger, though.

Originally, before I even started drawing the first page of this story, this character was going to be the enemy of Seymour. However, I changed Seymour into a philosopher and an educator and therefore had to change this character's history as well. They were going to be rival monks that had fought over the same woman, and in order to keep the woman from Seymour, the man with beady eyes killed her instead. However, Seymour's history will be different but no less interesting. However, it may be a bit less tragic.
