Fan Art Friday - Rejected Seymour Redesign

Here was a rejected character design for Seymour, who I was trying to make look more like a shogun - giving him a topknot instead of the classic bald head that we've all come to know and love. And you know what: trying to give him hair makes me appreciate that bald head all the more!

Then I started playing with the possibilities of giving him more tattoos over his body, and what they would represent. Here we see something similar to a classic WWII Japanese flag - kind of a setting sun homage. Seymour is going to be in a very different place after the events of the original Temple story, as the sequel will take place some 16 or so years later.

But enough teasers, enjoy your Forth of July Weekends - and don't blow yourselves up!
