…and a little 9-10 year old boy steps forward, when no one else would. Perhaps it's ignorance of the dangers that he'll face, perhaps it's the determination in his heart (which we'll discover on the next page), perhaps he just has a righteous sense of right and wrong. Whatever the reason, this little kid is willing to do something that adults can't even bring themselves to do.

Truely moving.

This is the first real meeting between these characters, even though Artimis has been helping tend to Abraham's mother. I imagine that he's always out playing or out with his father whenever she comes to visit.
