Tribute: The Creation of Heisenberg the Zombie Cat

The oft-referenced 'Schroedinger's Cat' thought experiment.

I apologize for the lack of plot-related comic, but something happened before I uploaded last week that made me kinda down:
One of the two feral cats that call my property home was attacked by what I assume to be my neighbors' dogs the day previous. I woke up that day believing the cat was dead and I needed to go out and bury it. Between the time of the discovery and getting dressed, the cat had managed to crawl under the old shed closest to my house. Her back legs were broken and god only know what internal damage. But with that fact, I was hopeful she'd manage to recover…

She died from her injuries the day I posted last. I spotted her sprawled out in the driveway, headed for our 'lawnmower shed'. She is survived by her sibling, and one surviving kitten.

I based Heisenberg in my comic on the insanity of every cat I have ever owned. And this one was the craziest one I ever had. If I knew whose dogs these were, I'd make sure the town constable had a friendly chat with their owners about the local leash laws. But I don't know where these dogs came from… So yeah, I was kinda sad and pissed. Ergo, this minor tribute.
