For the record, Deadpool is NOT Cobra Commander. Carlos got a whiff of something down on the farm. Also, I'm sure you folk are wondering what the (highly-fictional) Treaty of Kitchener is. It was signed on May 19th, 2009 at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex, which happened to be hosting a spritecomic convention at the time. All the gathered spriters and Capcom's legal team (excluding Capcom USA, who plans to sign a separate treaty at GenCon 2011) laid down the rules of acceptable use of Capcom's intellectual properties. Unfortunately, it was day 3 of the convention and the lawyers took advantage of the sleep deprivation to make things better for their end of the deal.

For the spriters there, tussling with Capcom's lawyers and surviving without being sued was one of the single largest moments in their lives. However, for the lawyers, it was Tuesday.
