I've never had a pet Chicken personally - but our neighbors currently have a half dozen of them. To be honest, there's nothing wrong with that at all. BUT, and this is a pretty key feature, they also had a Rooster for several months.

Which, too, was fine. For a few weeks. Until it started crowing practically *all* the time. Not just at sunrise…

So now, I have a deep dislike of Roosters. But I'm otherwise pretty happy with Chickens. Makes me wonder now - what I think about Foghorn Leghorn now if I were to watch some old school Looney Tunes…?
