Hey, at least she isn't about to go out on stage - or Zac might have said "Break A Leg", and then gone to get a sledgehammer.

That phrase has always made me wonder - why would you *tell* someone to break their leg, rather than wishing them luck? It's a bit cruel don't you think?

But that's the English language for you. So full of random phrases and metaphors, that you can quite easily say one string of words and sentences that mean one thing, but really are meant to say something else.

And then there's Cockney Rhyming Slang… *Shudders*
