Arrrgh! Final comic of 2009!? Where the heck did the rest of the year disappear to?

So, pens and telephones? One of the world's greatest representations of Murphy's Law I reckon. When I'm on the phone and I don't need to take a message, there's always a working pen there for me to doodle on the notepad with.

But somehow, when the phone rings again 5 minutes later, the pen has mysteriously walked away…

Maybe they're all hanging out with the missing socks from the washing machines…?
