Well, lucky for me I got the scanner working, kind of. Here's my latest stab at drawing. I tride to use what I learned so far from copy drawing cartoons to draw my own character. This is Veronica, yes, it's the same Veronica from The Winged One story.
I decided trying to flat out copy Mayshings work would be far to hard, and I really didn't want to anyways because she's drawing the main Manga and it is her's to draw. So, instead, I tried to do my own thing and put Veronica in a different outfit.
Veronica's trade mark is her 'skunk' get up, it's just become a part of who she is, but before she started dressing in it, she tried out several different outfits first. This was one of the 'other' outfits. The dog get up. I had been kicking this visual idea around for a while now and I wanted to try it out.
That thing coming off of her back is supposed to be a dog leash snaped up to her shorts. It's standing in place of the dog's 'tail'. I admit, I had no idea how to draw that. I also screwed up on the hands pretty bad.
