Character concept: Side story?

Here's a character concept drawing of 'The Cop' drawn by me. This character hasn't been introduced yet in the Black Eyes world of this series. Now, I know what you're thinking, this looks really bad compared to the art work from myself that I've been posting recently. Well, there's two reasons for that.

1. I had no base to work off of and I'm still having a hard time without one.
2. I wanted to try and make a guy that looked ok(which he kind of doesn't :( ) but was easy to draw, so I could redraw him over and over again without it taking to long. Why?

Because, I want to try and draw my own side story for The Winged One. Truth be told, I'm only going to get better if I draw a tone, and doing an entire story forces me to do that. That, and it will let me post some other stuff while we wait on Mayshing's art work(she is VERY busy, honestly, I think she's working on 20 different projects right now. :| )

So, despite that this didn't come out the best, I don't care! I'm doing a side story by gone it! Tomorrow I'll write a plot outline and then, draw, draw draw! And if it looks bad, it looks bad. There's stick figure drawings up at this place! It's all good. :)
