New page. What is being talked about here is a scene from the original story Black, Black Eyes. Yes, this is a sequel to a past story, so it maybe a tad hard to fallow at times if you haven't read the original. Pretty much Magnate was one of the leaders of the Banshee Council, a group of weaps that acted as kind of rulers, putting into place laws for other weaps to fallow and trying to keep control of the Second World where the weap kind lives.

Chattel worked for them and they used Chattel to kill off people and weaps that caused problems for the Banshee Council or broke their laws. Chattel worked for them because they had Chattel's kid Scion held at gun point and paid Chattel with time to see it's child.

At this time Magnate was pregnant. Weaps are asexual beings, so once they hit the age 250 they simply reproduce. Anyways, the Banshee Council felt Chattel was to unstable so they decided to kill Chattel. Scion got killed in the process, but Chattel lived and took it's revenge, killing every member of the Banshee Council. Chattel ripped Magnate's child right out of it's body. After that Chattel raised this new child as it's own and called it Scion as well.

Niggle saw Chattel kill off the Banshee Council, they had arrested her for loving and being with Marten. Niggle is still haunted by what she saw.
