Shade is really down on her luck. First her ship crashes on an alien planet where she can't speak the language then she gets seperated from her team by a criminal that then proceeds to rob her blind leaving her with literally nothing next the fact that she can't swim and is trapped on a small island. But her biggest problem and fear is her rings and tail. In her tribe still having rings and a tail is a sign that Shade is still virgin and isn't seen as a woman if her squad knew she'd lose all respect from them. (Her suit and headband covered everything before she never took it off.)

Enough about that. the comic.
Anthony still exploring finds himself at the ocean and Shade of all people. She is coming under the influence of Anthony's curse.
