Now as you all know Eve can disconnect from her unit but what does she look like with out it? Well I've been doing some work and I have learned that once she's disconnected she has a long snake like tail of very soft flesh like none frozen meat if you will that's because the unit is very pretective so without it she is very vunerable. To protect herself she wears clothes and padding on her tail. While it's not as effective as her unit it does the job. Since Ellis evolved from liars as in their DNA was used in their creation or a referance the power to remove from it was added on purpose. Should the unit become to heavily damaged the liar or elli will die. However if an Elli detached before it's to late it can live for up to a month without it's unit then it will die by basically starving to death for the unit contains the digestive and reproductive organs etc. There is more research but for now this should do you.

Now for the comic what Eve is doing is first holding her arms up in preparation to slam them into the ground injecting them in as deep as they'll go. Once she does that she can pull her tail free of the unit which has suctioned it's self to the ground. Once enough of her tail is out it goes into more or less stand by mood and the suction stops allowing it to be moved and she uses her bladed arm to push the unit away as she gets the last of her tail out. (Elli's can't cut any part of themselves save for their hair as a safety thing.) Then she simply gets up and that is how it's done every time she gets out. (Getting back in is done mostly in reverse save for slamming her arms into the ground to reattach the nerves once they are connected she can have it suck her back into the locking position this is only done right after a bath to keep dirt from getting dragged in.)
