Lost boys by nature hit hard a 2 hit combo can knock someone out. Weapons are often used as a fear tactic more then anything as you can see he had Destiny lock out but he never even used it. (This is more or less a combining the plot comic While Anthony was showing how well he fights without dark gaia's help Sonic was looking for a better fighting area to deal with Blaze.
