This is a modern kitchen, it has a pump and a drain in the bottom of the basin. Elle is lucky— and taking the whole projectedi mage into the water pretty well, frankly.

and the kitchen crew takes her sudden outburst pretty well too, all things consitered. But then, Dishwashers don't have to be sane.

Elle has taken her tunic off for two reasons, one to illistrate that it wasn't Sere's cleavage that marked her as a whore, and two, because it's a pain in the ass to wash dishes in a billowy-sleeved shirt.
