I have a teddy bear creatively named Teddy

he protects me from nightmares

I'd had Ted since I was -3 days old. He was a gift from my grandmother as my mom was enjoying her last few days at home before giving birth. He's so ratty by now that I'm afraid I'll rip his arm off in my sleep if I take him to bed with me… so he has a seat of honor within arm's reach.
