I usually use a fake name online

TIWID is my first project made public with my real name

The reason I use a fake name is that as a kid I didn't realize that fame and anonymity are, for the most part, mutually exclusive. It was my plan that I'd publish books and art under the fake name, and nobody would know who I really was to bother me about it.

But I really like my fake name, so if I can ever motivate myself to write/illustrate anything, I may still do that.
