Sometimes the internet throws minor inconveniences such as these at us. But who honestly takes the time to enter in their exact birthday? And even so, is there some sort of legal obligation for these companies to provide a "mature filter" that no one even follows? Or maybe it's overprotective parents that complained enough to these companies…
Without doing any research whatsoever - which seems to be the trend these days - I'm inclined to go with the legal obligation as the reason. And because of this, whenever I enter in my fake, one hundred and second birthday, I expect authorities to bust down my door and carry me off to their facilities.
