Crash Platypus

This redesign of StarHammer was originally done on St. Patrick's Day, for a li'l Wearin' O' The Green. I eventually tweaked the suit from it's original black and white, but, for the most part kept intact.

His more "serious" superhero origin story:
STARHAMMER
aka Michael Ortega 20 (current)

StarHammer has been a superhero since age 16.
he gained his powers when a group of scientists from a neighboring parallel dimension activated their experiment, meant to be a baseline method of travelling between dimensions, but, accidentally broke through to 4 different dimensions simultaneously. One of the scientists, Professor Roberto Ortega, had used his own blood as a powersource in the bio-energy converter of his own design that powered the machine.
The accident destroyed his home dimension, as well as his and the other doctor's counterparts in the neighboring locations. However, in reality 99101-X (The official designation of my superhero comics' reality), Roberto Ortega no longer existed. In 99101-X, Ortega was a policeman who had died a hero the previous year after stopping a crazed gunman from killing the governor of Connecticut by leaping in front of the bullet. the expended energies manifesting from the various dimensions' implosions implanted themselves into the counterparts of the closest living relatives of the original scientists.
16 year old Michael Ortega got a dose of cosmic energies from 4 separate realities. His body supercharged, Michael decided to follow in his fallen father's footsteps and become 'a hero'.
At first, he wore a mask during his career as a teen superhero, but, later on decided that was a sucker's game. He wanted to be recognized for his good deeds. he wanted the entirety of Xailenrath City, Connecticut to know his name the way they knew and respected his father's name.
StarHammer went public in his senior year of high school at 17. Unlike most of the other teen heroes in "X City", the police regarded him as one of their own, and let him do his thing. He was deputized by the governor in his father's memory, freeing him to fight crime with impunity and the support of his many "aunts and uncles" on the police force.

StarHammer has the strength of 50 men, the power of flight, the ability to walk through walls, energy blasts that eminate from his fists, and a humongous redhead fixation/crush on both Jenny Tanner (one of the few girls in his high school who will tell the young pseudo-celeb "no" and put him in his place) and UberWoman, whom he doesn't know are one and the same.

Either way, he rubs Ben Campbell/Orbit the wrong way, as he seems to outdo him in every way.

StarHammer is essentially a good kid, but is arrogant, hot tempered, used to getting his own way and very sensitive about the subject of his deceased father.
