Gazelle

Gazelle is, in her way, superpowered royalty.
She is the granddaughter of The Black Cheetah: Africa's first superhero, and my world's first speedster. Her father is the hero known as The Silver Bullet, and her uncle is the dangerous former-hero-turned-superspeed-terrorist, Maelstrom.
Being a hero is all she ever wanted, and, even though her father forbade her from doing so until she was at LEAST 18, she had been sneaking behind his back and doing it since she was a freshman in high school.
She brought insight and know-how to the ThrillSeekers, and, in lieu of UberWoman, would have made a better second in command than BattleCry. Alas, it was not to be. Still, any superteam would be lucky to have her.
