Shading on Thunder's eyes is my favorite way to give her expressions. Shan-Lur's being a bastard, but the rest of my motivation was watching horses move and tussle. I watched them and kept hearing Thunder's wings snap in my mind. Having constantly broken wings seemed like a bad idea, so at first I just dropped them from the character design… But that wasn't as cool, so I just played this in, so that I could get Thunder in fights on the ground without breaking those pretty wings repeatedly.
