What Dr. Light Means by sacrificial Helmet system is the helmet takes all the damage dealt to megaman onto itself. In short an extra life. It's megaman's helm that really explodes… Megaman is safely teleported away. Ride Armors have a similiar system in place.

I bet you all thought Megaman would find some crazy way to win.
He's not beating Ultimet until He gets the weapon Ultimet is weak against. (If this was made into a real game There would be a best order to go in)
