And so it begins. This story is going to be littered with in-jokes, as I drew it specifically for Ms. Carolyn. I will try to explain them as best as possible.

For instance, when she came to visit that weekend, my friend Chadd and I had to pick her up from the Greyhound station in Oakland, where the sign that should have read "BUS" instead read "BS." You see! You are filled with understanding now.
