The Real (Slippery) Thing

Making an appearance in today's strip is one of the first cartoon characters I created… Frederick The Fish. I was a huge fan of Garfield back in 1984, and that comic was a major influence in creating Frederick (especially in the eyes… those bubbly eyeballs, starting with Frederick, are still a part of my cartooning to this day).
