Realizing that I didn't want to run my markers out too fast, I switched to CG toning. The lines are still with traditional ink-pen, though.

…Her dad can say "Would you like some tea" in 13 languages; being a high ranking business man in a tea company and a dedicated lover of tea. This is a day the tea company gave him a break from work.

"Areria"="Aurelias"— He introduced himself as "Aurelias" but he has an accent that softens the "s"— then they translated his name into the language they're speaking as "Areria". (I'm guessing that's how they would do it anyway.)

The mom actually was -american-; the dad, who is also a supporter of westernization (Note the look of their house?) went to college in -america-, the mom was a student at the college, majoring in business (she runs a shop) but learning japanese as a second language. She eventually married the dad (duh) and when they got through college they came back to -Japan-.

(This is a mostly-parallel universe to earth. words marked by "-" are that world's equivalant, not the actual Earth countries.
It is only MOSTLY parallel so there are a lot of differences too.)
