To Renew

Drako the Barbarian is unquestioningly following with his sorcerer friend, Harsova into the desert without his sword or horse. The two are quickly taken prisoner by a platoon of Turkic Khaganate and brought to a camp to be held for a witchcraft trial with Harsova’s daughter.

This comic story is rated “A” for sex, drugs, nudity, and violence and is meant for Adult readers. It’s definitely not office safe.

“To Renew” is a samurai sword technique used in Miyamoto Musashi’s book “A Book of Five Rings”. In his book, he says that it applies to fighting an enemy, and when an entangled spirit arises where there is no possible resolution. We must abandon our efforts in a fresh spirit, then win in the new rhythm. To renew, when we are deadlocked with the enemy, means that without changing our circumstance, we change our spirit and win through a different technique. It is necessary to consider how “to renew” also applies in large-scale strategy. Research this diligently.
