For those wondering why an upset in Light's lab can "only mean trouble", consider this:

You live in Gotham City.
Superman is worried about something.
This probably means that you're in pretty big trouble, along with the rest of the city.

Or it's entirely possible that they're just hoodlumish people and are scared of Light finding them out. That's always possible.
